Feather is the rebirth of Katie's heart-felt and authentic work. With a track record of catchy country-pop songs, this new era showcases Katie in a new light; a distinctive folk artist, skilful guitarist and fearless in bending any genre to suit her message. Accompanied by Isabella Baker on violin, Anna Corcoran on piano, and herself on acoustic guitar, this work is reminiscent of obscure but timeless artists including Norah Jones, Katie Melua, Eva Cassidy, Judee Sill and Joni Mitchell.
After a long silence despite a promising beginning, Katie is "out of the shadows" and back with a stunning campaign and a powerful message - there is strength in vulnerability.
